Abhishek Bandekar is 23 years old, living in Mumbai, currently pursuing an MA in English literature. He is a film critic for eFilmCritic.com and occasionally freelance writes in India. An impulsive poet, he read a collection of his verse last year to an audience at the National Gallery of Media and Arts, Mumbai.
Founded in 2006 by like-minded activists, writers, and readers, DesiLit Magazine will be a biannual online magazine. We are committed to creating a forum for exceptional contemporary writing and art focused on South Asia and the diaspora.
